| Ed (who is typically called "Norton") is a New York City sewer worker, upstairs
neighbor, and Ralph's best friend. He is very good-natured, but trades insults
with Ralph on a regular basis. Norton typically supports Ralph and often gets mixed
up in his schemes. Norton's easy-going personality and dimwitted nature usully
gets the best of Ralph, who often showers Norton with verbal abuse. Both Norton and
Ralph are members of the Raccoon Lodge. Several episodes revolve around Raccoon
Lodge events or meetings.
